Please put grease in the trash can and NOT down the sink. Grease down the sink will hurt your plumbing, town infrastructure, and pollute the environment.
Only flushable items should be placed in toilets.

The Public Works Department performs many of the important functions for the Town.
The following are just a few of the services performed: fleet maintenance, storm water systems management, street maintenance, street sign maintenance, public right-of-way mowing, yard waste collection, trash pick-up, furniture pick-up, mosquito control, special event cleanup, water services, and sewer services.

Sanitation/Trash
The Sanitation Department services include weekly household trash pick-up, furniture pick-up, white goods pick-up, street cleaning, equipment maintenance, and assists other departments as needed.
Leaf and Limb Collection
Leaf and limb collection is available for residential customers within the Town's service area who pay for garbage collection. Residents must submit collection requests through the Town's work order system. Work orders can be submitted through the Work Orders page. Requests received outside of the Town's system cannot be scheduled unless specifically authorized by the Town.
To help ensure safe and efficient collection, please follow these guidelines:

Place leaf and limb piles within 10 feet of the edge of the roadway where collection equipment can easily access them.

Each pile must be no larger than 10 feet long × 10 feet wide × 10 feet high.

Leaves and limbs must be separated into different piles. Mixed piles may not be collected until they are properly separated.

Whenever possible, avoid placing piles beneath overhead utility lines.

Materials that do not meet these guidelines may not be collected until they have been properly prepared.
All trimmings done by contractors or tree surgeons will not be picked up by Tedder Trash Solutions, LLC
The household is responsible for the placement of leaves and limbs so that a SAFETY HAZARD is not created. CAUTION: Do not place leaves and limbs along the curb so as to prevent the flow of water or deny sight to vehicle traffic.
Collection of dirt, turf, rocks, trade waste, building materials and like materials or by products generated by a contractor will not be picked up by the Sanitation Department nor Tedder Trash Solutions, LLC.
Severe Weather and Storm Debris
Following major storms or other emergencies, routine leaf and limb collection schedules may be temporarily changed or suspended. Cleanup of large amounts of storm debris is handled separately from regular collection services and will be scheduled by the Town as needed.
Street Department
The Street Department services include street maintenance, repair, right-of-way mowing, equipment maintenance, and assists other departments as-needed.
